Our Story

Keith and I grew up in Southern New Hampshire and we both shared fond memories of family vacations in North Conway, NH.  We loved the skiing at Cranmore, Attitash and Wildcat.  As children, we slid down the rocks on the rushing Saco River.  We enjoyed the beautiful drives over the Kancamagus to see the fall foliage.  The view of Mount Washington out of the clouds is an unforgettable sight.  Of course, the outlet shopping and the quaint downtown green make this town a special place to visit.  As we started a family of our own, we found ourselves revisiting North Conway every summer and reliving our childhood memories with our own children.  We camped at Blackberry Crossing, but always talked about buying a home in the Valley so that we could stay longer and visit more often.  When we saw this 1820 farmhouse belonging to Mr. English, we knew this would be a wonderful home to build lasting memories for our children and future generations.  We purchased the home in August 2007, and consider the farmhouse our "real" home.  With 4 bedrooms, we fill the house with friends and family, sharing the magic of the Valley.  With 15 minutes to Attitash and Storyland, 10 minutes to outlet shopping, 5 minutes to Cranmore, Echo Lake and the many wonderful restaurants and boutiques of old town, we are perfectly distanced from all the Valley offers.  When we aren't hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, fishing, skiing, sledding or Jeeping offroad, we are sitting on the porch, sipping a cold drink and enjoying the crisp, fresh air.  We hope you will enjoy staying in our home and the lifetime of memories from a vacation in North Conway.
